A Launching Pad

Jumping Off ChairI’m not always able to spend a ton of one on one time with each kiddo every day.  But when I get to do it, it always ends up being special – even when we don’t do anything special.  On this particular day, R was with her father playing golf, and H and I were just hanging around the house.  I was putting laundry away in his room when he meandered in.  He quickly decided that what I was doing was not fun at all, so he proceeded to amuse himself by climbing and launching and stomping and roaring from every (safe) surface in his room.  (It was hilarious.)
Stomping on The Bed
As always, my camera was not far from reach, so we just hung out…him launching and roaring and stomping and jabbering, and me just clicking away.  I’d been meaning to snap some photos of his room since he’d moved into it and just hadn’t taken the opportunity, and he was having such fun that it became the perfect tour of his space, courtesy of H himself!

I love how clean his room is, and I love that I know that it looks this way whether it’s 10am or 10pm… One day I aspire to be as organized as you! I know Akshat hopes so too ;o) I can’t help but this this is what his bachelor pad looked like before I showed up!

Ha! Ju, it does get messy that’s for sure. But we keep his storage low and open, so he can clean it all up on his own. The playroom on the other hand….tornado. 😉
